What to Wear

At Mountain Life, we want you to come as you are. Jeans? Perfect. God loves us the way we are and we want you to feel safe coming just as you are.

When You Arrive

For your first visit, we suggest arriving 15 minutes early to find parking, get your kids (Nursery-5th Grade) checked in to their classrooms, grab a coffee and find a seat. If the parking lot is full when you arrive, fear not, we have overflow parking just south of the church on Silver Creek Road with a shuttle that runs every few minutes.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by some friendly people. Feel free to ask anyone wearing a “How May I Help You?” badge to show you around or answer any questions you might have. We also have a Next Steps kiosk where you can go to ask questions, pick up information about Mountain Life or just say Hello. Before you head into the worship center, grab a cup of coffee and a bulletin, which contains details about upcoming events and programs. Feel free to bring your own Bible, use an app on your phone to follow along or use one of the Bibles we have available. If you don’t have a Bible of your own, please take one as our gift to you. Also, you’ll be relieved to know that you will never be singled out as a visitor during our worship services. In fact, you can remain entirely anonymous if you’d like. However, we would love for you to stop by the Next Steps kiosk—we’ve got a small welcome gift for you and would love to meet you!

Kids and Students

We place a high priority on kids and students at Mountain Life, and want them to have a fun, age-appropriate, Christ-centered experience while they’re here. If you have young kids (Nursery-5th Grade), we have a safe and fun environment just for them during both Sunday morning services. You’ll want to arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit so we can get the kiddos checked in and show you around the Kids Ministry area before the service starts. For our Saturday night service, we offer childcare for Nursery-3rd Grade. Take a look at the Kids page to learn more.

For the 9:00 am service, Junior High students (6th-8th Grade) attend the first 15-20 minutes of the adult service before being dismissed to go to their class in The LOFT. For the 10:45 am service, High School students (9th-12th Grades) attend the first 15-20 minutes of the adult service before being dismissed to go to their class in The LOFT. For our Saturday night service, all students 6th-12th Grade stay in the adult service. Student Ministry mid-week programming is also offered. Check out the Students page for details.

Music

The music we sing is a mix of old and new, acoustic and electrified. We realize that each of us has different musical tastes and worship preferences, but our ultimate goal is to provide an authentic worship experience where you can connect with God. During this time of worship, the words will be displayed on large screens at the front of the worship center. You’ll notice that everyone worships in his or her own unique way. For many, that may include singing and raising their hands, while for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. Feel free to express your worship however you are most comfortable or just sit back and observe.

The Message

We believe that the entire Bible is an amazing story of God’s plan to save us from sin through His Son, Jesus, and to help us live an abundant life. The Bible is our story, too, so our messages are personal and relevant — allowing God to teach us, engage us in His plan and help us take Next Steps on our journey with Him. Listen to previous messages.

Communion

We typically celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Anyone who has made a decision to follow Jesus Christ is welcome to participate in this time of personal prayer and reflection.

Giving

You’ll notice that we collect an offering during our services. However, as our guest, please don’t feel obligated in any way to participate in our time of giving. This is meant for those who consider Mountain Life their church home to give voluntarily and generously to God as an act of worship.

Next Steps…We all have one

Our journey with God is a series of Next Steps that bring us closer to Him. We hope your very first step is to come visit us for one of our worship services. Once here, you’ll see that Mountain Life Church is a place where you can come as you are but, let’s be honest, God doesn’t want you (or any of us!) to stay as you are. We offer plenty of opportunities for you to take your Next Step towards God and we would love to help you do that. Come join us as we take Next Steps on this adventurous journey of faith together. See you soon!
