With the rash of devastating hurricanes battering the Southern US and Caribbean this fall, EFCA ReachGlobal Crisis Response has been hard at work coordinating relief and recovery efforts for the thousands upon thousands of people who have lost everything. Their mission strategy is to provide a long-term and sustainable recovery effort leading to disciple-making and community transformation. They are prepared to go to the areas hardest hit and to stay long after everyone else has moved on.

As part of our partnership with ReachGlobal, Mountain Life is sending our own Crisis Response Team to Houston four times over the next year to assist with recovery and rebuilding efforts.

On Sunday, November 19, we collected a Thanksgiving Offering to share our abundant blessings and provide EFCA’s ReachGlobal Crisis Response with financial assistance for their hurricane relief efforts. This is an incredible opportunity for us to show God our gratitude for His loving provision for us and protection over us. We can all do something do bring love and hope to the victims. When you are ready to give your offering toward the Thanksgiving Offering, just click the green button below then select "Thanksgiving Offering" as your designation; or use one of the special Thanksgiving Offering giving envelopes (available at Next Steps in the lobby) to give with cash or check, which can then be dropped in the offering basket during our Sunday morning offering collection.
