The Student Ministry is an exciting place where every teenager can go deeper in their faith by connecting with friends, adults and Jesus. Our goal is to make sure each student feels encouraged, supported, accepted and loved right where they are.
Our belief is that students need more than fluff in this life. They need Christ-centered teaching, adults who love them, and experiences that rock their world. We are dedicated to reaching students right where they are and walking with them through this life together.

There are four main questions that we ask:

•What do they need to KNOW and at what depth?
Bible | Core Values | Theology | Christian World-View
•What do they need to EXPERIENCE in terms of catalytic events?
Camps | Retreats | Service Projects
•What do they need to be DOING in terms of everyday behaviors?
Kindness | Truth Telling | Forgiving | Scripture Reading | Prayer | Bible Memorization | Sharing Their Faith | Tithing | Service
•Who do they need to be in RELATIONSHIP with along their journey?
Parents | Life Group Leader | Ministry Leaders | Mentor | Friends
Our desire for every teenager in the Student Ministry at Mountain Life Church is to be spiritually equipped, live a healthy lifestyle, desire love and grace in their life, serve the community in which they live, and be ready to serve in the church body where they attend!

Discipleship Groups and Life Groups

Our Discipleship (D) Groups are where High Schoolers learn about grace, truth and love in an environment where they can be open and honest about their life situations.
Junior High Life Groups meet on Tuesday nights at the church during The Hub. These Life Groups are designed for students to build community with their classmates and the adult class leader as well as go deeper in the message that was given that night.

CREW and JCREW are our Student Leadership Program for High School and Junior High. The purpose is to help students learn how to take ownership over their ministry. Being part of Crew or JCREW gives students an opportunity to use their gifts for God’s greater Kingdom. CREW & JCREW students must be mature and responsible and willing to grow in their faith.

We arrange major trips throughout the year for the both High School and Junior High students. These trips are what we consider our catalytic events and they are designed to accelerate spiritual growth and go deeper in relationship building.
