Scott Fine

Senior Pastor | 435.647.5855
Scott came to Park City from Minnesota with his amazing wife Jeanne back in 1993 as the first full-time pastor of Mountain Life, which was then an emerging new church. To say that Scott loves people would be a huge understatement. He enjoys getting to know people and discovering how God is at work in their life. He is fully convinced that God’s Word is as relevant to our lives today as when it was first written. In his free time Scott enjoys golfing, cheering for the Utah Jazz, hiking in the mountains with Jeanne, sipping a cup of tea, grilling steaks out back, enjoying his grandkids, traveling to relaxing destinations and finding good deals.

Joel Anderson

Student Ministry Pastor | 435.647.5855
Joel was born right outside the windy city, Chicago, as the youngest child of six and a Pastor’s kid. He grew up loving sports and the great outdoors. Being from Chicago and loving sports means Joel is a huge fan of the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and, yes, even the CUBS. When he’s not running full tilt with the Mountain Life Student Ministry, Joel enjoys climbing mountains, skiing the slopes and serving as the Assistant Basketball Coach for the Park City High School varsity boys team. Joel and his wife, Kristi, have three young sons that keep the adventure going the rest of the hours in the day.

Debbie Arnott

Office Assistant | 435.647.5855
Debbie is a bit of a gypsy. She was born and raised in Zimbabwe, immigrating to South Africa in her early twenties before finally making her way to America. She has two wonderful children – a son who lives in Australia and a daughter in Park City. Debbie loves the outdoors – but only when it’s warm – and spends most of her spare time hiking with her camera. She loves traveling and experiencing different cultures first-hand, and seeing just how beautiful this world really is.

Robert Bartko

Worship Pastor | 435.647.5855
Prior to joining the Mountain Life staff in 2006, Robert and his wife Sammie moved from South Florida to West Jordan, UT to Associate Pastor a church plant. They are a self-described “circus family” with two rowdy kids, two motorcycles, two dogs, two cats, two fish and a partridge in a pear tree. Prior to becoming a Christian, Robert produced three singles for the mega group KORN, wrote and produced for countless other Billboard Charting musical acts and has gone on to record as a solo artist. His work has been used internationally for film, television, radio and various television episodes aired on MTV.

Laura Behnke

Care Giving Director | 435.647.5855
Laura Behnke, grew up in Park City and has watched it grow and change over the years. Mountain Life Church became her home church when she was 15 and she has served in various areas including the Worship Team, teaching Sunday School, Women’s Bible Studies, Single and Parenting, leader in a singles Life Group and now serving on staff as the Care Giving Director. She finished her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah in Human Development and Family Studies with an Economics Minor. Her compassion for people and passion for the Lord has developed over the years from experiencing some of her own seasons of trauma and crisis and she now helps others find the help and healing they need as they journey through their own difficult circumstances. As a single parent herself, she spends her time raising her young daughter, spending time with friends and family in the beautiful outdoors of Park City.

Andrew Camp

Spiritual Growth Pastor | 435.647.5855
Despite living in Park City since 2012, primarily because he grew up in Southern California, Andrew much prefers a hike up a mountain than skiing down one. He lived in China for three years working as a youth pastor for missionary kids and worked as a professional chef for six years before coming on staff at Mountain Life. Andrew met his wife Claire on a blind date (ask him the story behind the cheesecake he made for the date) and proposed six months later. They have two small daughters named Hazelle and Hannah. Andrew is a self-proclaimed theology nerd and credits Claire with helping him to embrace his theological nerdiness. Andrew loves to cheer on his LA Lakers and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Carol Clark

Database Manager | 435.647.5855
She’s ba-a-ack! After retiring from the same position at Mountain Life a year and a half ago, Carol realized that she missed the purpose and meaning that working for MLC brought to her life. She has happily returned to work part-time behind the scenes. In Ohio, during her pre-Utah life, Carol and her husband Randy spent 30 years teaching in the same high school. Their son Brian now follows the family tradition as a teacher in Heber. When not busy working with the database, Carol enjoys reading and taking long road trips (especially back to Ohio to visit family and friends). She has driven in 47 states and, to complete this bucket list item, she hopes to plan a road trip that includes North Dakota, Louisiana, and Alabama.

Jill Clausen

Student Ministry Associate | 435.647.5855
Jill grew up in Rock Island, IL and went to College at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI, graduating with a degree in Youth Ministry and Bible. She started at Mountain Life Church as the Student Ministry Intern and transitioned to a Student Ministry Associate in 2013. Jill really enjoys living in Park City and you can most often find her spending her time hiking, reading, hanging out with students and friends and anything that includes making crafts.

Kathy Engelbert-Fenton

Connections Director | 435.647.5855
Kathy and her husband Mike are charter members of Mountain Life and Kathy has used her gifts in several staff positions over the years. Kathy met Mike while both were serving on a search and rescue team in the mountains of Southern California. She used those skills in a Christian stress-education program that worked with disadvantaged and delinquent kids–using backpacking and climbing as vehicles to teach kids about God and expand their view of the world. Kathy’s sense of adventure has taken her many places to serve God, including Nepal, Mexico, Haiti, Peru, New Orleans, and a Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona. Kathy loves to use her gift of Hospitality. She and Mike have two grown kids, Luke and Leah (yes, you read that right), and a son-in-law, Wes.

Jenny Lyman

Senior Pastor Assistant | 435.647.5855
Jenny is a California girl, hailing from the Bay Area to be exact. After calling the Washington, DC area home for six years, she and her husband Jamison decided to move to Park City to raise their family. They have two small boys that keep them pretty busy but, when Jenny finds herself with several free hours (said no mom of young kids ever!), she enjoys baking and crafting.

Lucy McIntire

Office Assistant | 435.647.5855
Lucy grew up in Oklahoma and spent 10 years working with children, teens and adults in psychiatric hospitals (we could insert lots of jokes about how this experience helped her land the job at Mountain Life but we won’t). She married her husband Ed in 1986 and moved to the Philippine Islands for two years during Ed’s final active duty Air Force assignment. While there, Lucy worked for the American Red Cross, and they were able to visit many neighboring countries and experience amazing cultures. Shortly after their return to the states, they began their greatest adventure of all—parenthood. Precious Irish twins, Ethan and Beth, were born in ’93 and ’94. A move to Park City in 2000 brought Lucy’s family to Mountain Life and she began working in the office in 2013. Lucy enjoys kayaking, hiking, camping and the ballet and hopes to go on mission trips someday.

Teri Meek

Communications Director | 435.647.5855
Although Teri’s official title is Communications Director, she likes to think of herself as the Chief Storyteller—using her nerdy gifts of graphic design and wordsmithing to engage and connect people with what God is doing. Teri and her hubby, Steve, have been married since 1994 and have one adventurous, servant-hearted son named Judah. When she’s not geeking out on graphic design or copy writing, she likes to ride her bike, hike, explore new places, watch sci-fi movies, drink coffee in excess and cook with her family.

Margaret Williams

Office Manager | 435.647.5855
As a self-proclaimed ardent organizer/clutter reducer and armed with an MBA and more than 24 years in banking, financial  administration and investment consulting, Margaret has whipped Mountain Life’s office into shape. Margaret and her husband Roger served as missionaries with the Lutheran Church in Papua New Guinea for three years and have also lived in Australia. Margaret is a passionate group leader with Bible Study Fellowship and is the director of the Crisis Response Team at Mountain Life. Besides organizing, Margaret’s other hobbies are cross country skiing, hiking, entertaining, playing the harp, and enjoying her grandkids.

Steve White

Executive Pastor | 435.647.5855
Steve grew up as a missionary kid in Nigeria. Although Steve has been in full-time church ministry for over 20 years, back when he was young and reckless, he traveled the world as a drummer with the Christian music group The Continentals. Ask him sometime about watching for lions when the van broke down in the outback of Kenya. If lions aren’t your thing, he can tell stories of his travels raising awareness (and money) for drought and poverty relief efforts with World Vision. Steve loves reading (almost anything), traveling (almost anywhere), and sharing ministry with his wife Leanne and their two kids, Nicole and Jared.

Cullen Wood

Kids Ministry Director | 435.647.5855
Cullen is a California girl. She has loved working with young children since 1994 as a day care instructor, preschool teacher, and preschool director. At the end of the 2007 Cullen started CullensAbcs.com to reach and teach thousands of children globally on a daily basis with over 850 free videos, an online preschool and a preschool bible study. Cullen enjoys serving, decorating, sports and spending time with friends and family. Cullen and her husband Steve “Gator” have been married since 2001 and have a very active and adventurous (when it comes to doing crazy tricks on skis and skateboards) young son that brings a bundle of consistently moving energy to whatever they are doing.
