We are glad you are looking into our growing community of believers.
Mountain Life is a friendly, Bible-believing and Christ-honoring
church. We enjoy welcoming people from all walks of life and
introducing them to the Good News of Jesus Christ. We love
helping people discover the joy of knowing Christ personally and
the freedom that comes from living by biblical principles in the
power of the Holy Spirit.
Our style of worship is informal and contemporary. Pastor
Scott’s biblically-based messages seek to help people relate
God’s Word to their everyday lives.
We place a high priority on children and young people, and want
them to have a very positive, loving, and Christ-centered
experience in being a big part of our church community.
We know that to live on the growing edge requires supportive
relationships and biblically-guided challenges. For this reason,
we emphasize involvement in small groups and getting to know God
through His Word on a daily basis.
We also have a heart for sharing the Good News with people all
over the world, making it a priority to support missions, and we
are involved in serving with mission teams as God leads.
We realize that people are searching for God and a more
meaningful life in an increasingly more complex world. We give
people room to explore without pressure to join, and to see God
at work in our community and in their lives. As God moves among
our people, heart doors are opening and wonderful things are
happening in the lives of more and more people. We pray that
this is the time for you and warmly invite you to come, explore,
and grow with us.
Our History
Mountain Life began in the summer of 1992 as 4 key families
followed God’s leading as they sensed a need for a balanced
Bible church in the greater Park City area. They rented space
from Carden Christian Academy for Sunday morning services.
The church called Pastor Scott Fine, and family, in the fall of
1993, as the first full-time pastor. We are now privileged to
have Kurt Staeuble as our Associate Pastor, Brian Pfeifer as our
Youth Pastor, Robert Bartko as our Worship Pastor and Jessica
Becker as our Children's Director.
The church has grown from: a small core group in 1992 to a
church of over 400 attendees; from renting to building and
moving into our new facility in Jan. 2002; from a handful of
children and youth to a children’s ministry of over 110 kids and
a youth group that interacts with and reaches more than 100; from supporting a few
missionaries to a missions budget and giving of over $90,000
with over 23 missionaries and agencies supported. |
